A few months ago I was passed on an article about strong women in the music industry; it was either Erykah Badu or Eve who stated Were in a male dominated industry and the one thing you can do as a women to kill ur career is hate on another womens success, as women your suppose to empower and assist not talk behind backs, open your legs, say false things or call names to get ahead. But in this day and age, some women are so far fetched theyd rather sit and plan ways to destroy another females success. The bond between other female DJS are 100% stronger than females working in this industry. Ive been working in the music industry since I was 16 from DJing to intern ships to jobs people wish they had to now being a CEO/ Operations Officer and an all around nice person. This past October marked my 10 year anniversary and its silly to me to see women and men for that matter 5-10 years older than me acting like real life is high school. Clearly its not working. How many grants, awards, nominations, tours have you gotten or put together in the past 5 years? Let alone how many artists have you taken outside of Canada and let them shine. Hard work will always pay off. Hard work should be respected and appreciated, as not a lot of woman get the opportunity to even shine. High five to my team for building a solid foundation and stepping outside the four walls - LiveVision Mgmt Jennifer Jenno Chand Garrett C VanDusen Aaron Bhawan Sarah Lou Gracelle Rivera
