A few months ago my parents a submitted a visa application, hoping they will be approved and have a chance to visit Canada, my home, for the first time in 13 years, and to meet my love. Naturally, we can barely contain our excitement! It’s been a month and not a word from the Canadian embassy. Dead silence. Tickets have been purchased and we need to book time off but we can’t do anything until we know the final outcome. I catch myself wanting to KNOW for sure. Just tell me if it’s a ‘yes’ or a ‘no’ already so that we can move on. We did everything right – what’s the hold up? I pick up the phone to call for answers, except, there’s nowhere to call. Let it go, I say. We did everything we could – it’s time to turn it over to the Universe let it do it’s magic, enjoy the process and live my life joyfully instead of worrying and counting the minutes. I KNOW that everything will unfold as it should – it may look different from what I anticipated but I feel that it will be just as good – it will be better! #unravelyourself #thismessylife #lovetheprocess
