Winter Wonderland 2013 Friday, November 22, 2013 Depot Open House: 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Downtown Lighting: 7:00 p.m. “A Little Something for Everyone!” Every year the City of Caldwell organizes the “Winter Wonderland” event in Downtown Caldwell, which is held on the Friday evening before Thanksgiving. This fun-filled evening includes the annual Caldwell tree lighting ceremony in conjunction with lighting the entire Indian Creek with incredible themed displays. Activities include an open house at the Caldwell Train Depot and Interpretive Center, Santa’s Workshop where kids are invited to come and visit Santa &Mrs. Clause, rides on the Caldwell Kiddie Train, live animal displays, characters in costume, food vendors, kick-off to shopping at the downtown businesses, and live entertainment.
