A few pictures of the tornado in Earlville, Illinois I took - TopicsExpress

A few pictures of the tornado in Earlville, Illinois I took yesterday morning. As I walked through the aftermath.. I cant help but look with mixed emotion. I have lived here for 2 years now. Under unfortunate & very unfair circumstances. Engaged in a battle that was brought on by intentions better left for others to explain. It was not my War. After 2 1/2 years in trial my sons & I are leaving this town very soon. I have gotten to know very few people During the darkest & most painful time in my life & I cant blame anyone at all for avoiding the collateral damage my friendship could bring. Again it is in these pictures my emotions become mixed. Confusion twists & turns into a huge trail of chaos & destruction I lived throughout the last 2 years here in Earlville Illinois. This wreckage reflects that. What I have seen in the 36 hours since the Tornado hit this town, is a community pull together & work tirelessly toward a common goal. They all helped each other, non stop. They picked each other off the ground & swept up the wreckage for one another, nonstop. It was as powerful as the Tornado itself. The trail the community leaves in the aftermath of the Tornado is far more impactful to me then the trail the Tornado itself left. This town is small, but more powerful in the wake of chaos & tragedy then other communities much larger. I am proud to have lived in this town. This town may not know me, but I can say I know this town. I leave here with a lot of respect. Earlville takes care of its own.
