A few random thoughts. I stopped at Holy Hound for a beer before going to a baseball game tonight. The young couple beside me said that they LOVE this place, they were both from Red Lion and usually only come in to Bistro 19, and were not aware of the Hound. +1 for York. I have recently heard of at least 2 people who moved downtown, renting apartments. One already owns a house on South Duke Street but wanted to rent on Beaver St to be closer to the action and one who owns multiple properties in Red Lion who moved to Codo for the same reason. I just heard tonight about a couple who bought a place at the lofts. He has a land Rover and she has a Jaguar. They are doing well and want to live downtown. Heard about a program last week that will take city youth and teach them about farming all summer. The insist on having kids from mixed backgrounds. You know what, #iloveyorkcity and it appears that others do too.
