A few thoughts concerning the rioting in St. Louis, Missouri. I was raised dirt poor. Government cheese was a delicacy to us. We were poor whites. We struggled for everything we had! Not one time did we riot and loot and destroy other properties. A very good friend of mine who is a pastor had a son shot and killed by a city policeman. It barely made the news. Within two years my friend buried his son, his mother law, his sister law, and his wife died of a ruptured aorta. He never rioted. Plus a Johnny come lately destroyed his church! Did he riot, rob, and pillage. No he cried out to God for help and still preaches and loves God and believes for a better day. No nationally known figure offered condolences but Gods people reached out in love and compassion! None is us are promised tomorrow!
