A few weeks ago I got in a deep conversation with some friends about Facebook. The good, the bad and the ugly. Their opinion was a bit different than mine. Apparently, FB in some minds is worse for society than heroine. Last night as I lay awake I was missing and thinking of a friend of mine who died recently. I went to his FB page, and was brought to tears. As I reread his posts, stories, comments and was able to see his pictures and his view of the world again, I knew I had skipped a major plus side in my conversation weeks earlier. FB is a way to leave our mark in time. As I read his words I could hear his voice, his laugh, his sarcasm again. For a moment I could feel him again, he came alive through his memories of his life. I feel grateful today for FB, for a moment, in a way, it gave me a friend back.
