A few weeks ago, Mario had been hanging out at a gas station for a while… and thankfully one day a kind soul saw him and took him in. Below is a note from Mario’s rescuer … and foster Mom, Julie… He is a love of a dog, looking for a forever home. Please consider, and share him with anyone who might be interested. This young boy will make a wonderful companion for someone… Mario will be starting Heartworm treatment this week and will need to be calm and quiet for the duration, I believe around 30 days… He is vetted, so after that he will be good to go! He does well with kids, dogs and even cats! He is available thru Dog for Debin. If you are interested or have questions about Mario, please contact Julie at: jtischer77@yahoo THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH! Mario is truly a amazing dog. It is truly unbelievable how great of a dog he is. He deserves to have a family who can spend time with him and love him lots. As of now, he splits his time with my 3 other dog rotations, but he does it with grace, even though I know he is sad when its not his turn with me. He has been fantastic with all visitors to my house. No jumping up, no barking, no bad behaviors at all! He just wags his tail to greet anyone who enters. And he wont jump on the couch unless invited. Last night we laid down and watched a show, and he placed his head in my lap and didnt move an inch for 30 minutes. But its not that hes mopey. He is just content and comfortable. When its time to go outside to potty, he gets excited and seems to be a little clumsy on slick surfaces such as tile or hardwoods. Then he might go out and chase a squirrel for a minute, but if I say his name, he focuses his full attention on me right away. Such a sweet gentle boy.... Hes had zero accidents, even when left out of a kennel in a bedroom for 8-9 hours while Im at work.
