A few weeks ago, after visiting my Mom (The Heritage on Helmer Rd), I heard some crows “talking” in a tree very near where my car was parked. I looked up and in the top of the now naked tree were two crows and a Red-tailed Hawk. The scene made an impression on me because that hawk was acting like those crows weren’t even there. He could care less, no matter how annoying they were trying to be. He was confident who the boss was, and that they were just so much noise. I thought, as Christians we need to show a quiet, yet strong confidence to those that are watching us, no matter how crazy our circumstances are. And when they wonder how we can be at peace, we should have the answer at the ready.
