A few weeks before Thanksgiving 1998, I was stranded in Washington - TopicsExpress

A few weeks before Thanksgiving 1998, I was stranded in Washington DC, during another attempt to find myself an arts job. My dear friends and guardian angels Pam Garramone and Chris Garramone paid my way back to Denver, and let me stay at their home until I was able to get back on my feet. On Thanksgiving eve, I turned on ABC to watch Politically Incorrect with Bill Maher, and I caught the end of Nightline. In his commentary, Ted Koppel said that no matter how independent we think we are, we all need help to get through the difficult times of our lives. Thanksgiving is the day that we acknowledge that fact and recognize those who have helped us. I am thankful today and forever for my wonderful friends who have always been there for me.
