A few years ago A friend of mine was skinning a doe he just killed. He started with the back and cut a piece of the strap off and ate it raw. I looked it up on line and got so many different views on eating raw venison. Anyone ever do this and is it safe? Im sure the meat taste good as I eat mine seared on the outside and purple/pink towards the center. I was concerned with the parasites and possible bacteria. Your thoughts.
