A few years ago: I pull into the drive-thru of a bank (to make a withdrawal) and my vehicle barely grazed the concrete pole and left a small scratch down the side of my vehicle. A few months ago: I am at the bank drive-thru making a withdrawal. As I reach to get the canister, which had my cash and drivers license in it, I drop the canister which then slowly rolled under my truck. I then attempted to open my door, which barely opened due to the brick canister return thingie (that must be the official term, I am sure of it), and since my door wouldnt open much, I attempted to squeeze myself out of the vehicle, smashing my face in between the door jam trying to get out but it wasnt happening. Since I couldnt get out of my truck, I slowly drove forward slightly, just enough so I could open my truck door, but apparently that was a bad idea because I heard the loud breaking of the plastic canister below my tire. Awesome. I get out of the truck to find several lines of vehicles in the drive-thru all staring at the idiot who just drove over the canister, I then walk up to the shattered plastic, dig in to get my drivers license and cash, hit the green call button on the brick canister return thingie to tell the bank teller I was sorry but theres a big mess out here and then jumped back into my truck, without my dignity, and drove off :) Just this afternoon: I am at the bank drive-thru, I place my withdrawal slip and drivers license in the canister and sent it to the bank teller. Then the bank teller says Umm, maam, I am sorry but I need your drivers license, not Gavin Smiths Ident-A-Kid card. Deana + bank drive-thrus = moments of awkwardness. I am starting to think these are signs that I do not need to make anymore cash withdrawals because nothing bad ever happens when I make a deposit :)
