A few years back, I stumbled upon a Chinese burial located behind - TopicsExpress

A few years back, I stumbled upon a Chinese burial located behind a shophouse in Kenyalang Park, where there is a free open parking space laid with gravels. After parking my car near the edge, I went to pee at the bushy area covered with a few tall trees. I was stunt to see two Chinese graves under the trees! Curiously, I stepped in further to see why such burial was allowed under the Land Use Code. It must be a private land lot and not gazetted for burial. The age of two graves were not very old, probably less than 40 years, judging from the style of architecture and materials used to construct the exposed mounded altar. It seemed well kept but rubbishes were scattered nearby. From a Feng-Shuis propective of good burial, it had a good location, on high ground of a hill side that were supported at the back and on both sides, and over looking towards the panoramatic view of Kuching City. Fit for a dead noble! Anyone know got a story to tell about this burial ground?
