A fine evening to one and all. I realized I have only been - TopicsExpress

A fine evening to one and all. I realized I have only been sharing posts and not sharing my own thoughts lately. Things are a bit hectic on the road. Interesting, fun at times, and very challenging at others. I am making a living, learning, and growing. I guess that is what I am supposed to do. I am driving the Artist bus for The Voice 2014 Summer Tour. I can honestly say, I have never had so much genuine and diverse talent on one bus. The late night guitar pulls are amazing. If this group of individuals from different backgrounds and influences traveling together is any indication of the future of music, we are in for a real treat. Music that knows no boundaries and pulls from influences that span all genre. These talented kids spending this much time working and collaborating together just expands the movement. This experience continues to be insightful, educational, and memorable. Other than that, I am a bit tired but, healthier than I have been in a few years, inspired to move forward with some projects that have been on the back burner for too long, and eyeing a future that does not require living in hotel rooms. Im not saying that I am ready to settle down but, I enjoy being home with family, friends, and the dog more n more. I have some dreams to fulfill that require staying in one place. After 30 years on the road, It will be an interesting transition and a well earned reward for years of travel. Let me leave you with this. Stay true to yourself. Believe in yourself Do not accept mediocracy, you are responsible for your future. Professionally and Personally. Let the good people in your life love you with all they have to give. Love them with all you have in return. Let the bad go!! I look at it this way: My present and future are my windshield of the bus. My past is the rear view mirrors. While it is important to look behind, see where you have been, and what is approaching your six, you can not move forward without concentrating on what is in front of you and on your forward horizon. Stay safe out there. Love yall, Shane
