A fire chief with the training division wanted to Pass It On to the department’s payroll clerk, whose son was in a terrible car crash in Tallahassee. The single dad has been in the hospital for three months, so his mom is taking care of his 11-year-old daughter and making bi-weekly trips to visit him. She said it’s been a rough road, but “it’s been worth it to see him progress because it didn’t look very good there the first couple of weeks.”
