A follow-up to my Monday post (Ten simple rules for fighting at an NFL game) as this crew really know how to do it right. They are fans of opposing teams, and their uniforms easily identify them as enemy combatants without giving away their personal identities. Some are even wearing helmets. And the lady(?) really knows how to throw a punch. All jokes aside, getting lost among the Ray Rice and Adrian Peterson scandals is the fact that NFL game attendance is way down, and the FCC is about to vote (against the wishes of Roger Goodell and NFL owners) that the 39-year old mandatory local TV blackout rule be abolished. Beyond domestic violence and concussions, the real threat to the NFL is outrageous ticket prices, fan violence like this and HDTV; three reasons why I wont take my kids to regular season games. That, and the fact that the J!E!T!S! are terrible (again).
