A formal complain by a Kericho resident: We promise Samwel Rugut that this message has been forwarded to Kericho County Executive committee to read riot acts to their officers! We challenge the County Government first to improve its Citizen Service Delivery which is wanting in many ways. On Monday the 29th of July, 2013 I went to Town Hall next to KTGA to see the Town Clerk at exactly 2.00pm. I was told by the secretary that the clerk had gone for lunch and I sat waiting for him till 3.14pm when I decided to go away since he had not turned up! We rarely find him in office.I thought the hours of work were from 8.00am - 1.00pm and 2.00pm - 5.00pm? Yesterday I went again to see him and had to wait in the queue for over one hour as Pavin Sigei sat with the clerk in the office. What was irritating was Pavin Sigei kept walking out to make calls and returning inside as we waited on the queue.One usually feels guilty for keeping people waiting in the queue but they were not in the least bothered. Is this how services will be delivered in this county where officers who are supposed to be the servants of the people think citizens have all the time to sit and wait for them for hours on end in this world of competition?
