A friend and direct selling leader of ours shared this with me as I often struggle to find balance as a full-time work-at-home mama… Thought you guys might need to hear it too. ~Rachel “One of the most freeing things I was told was to ask my boys what was important to them. I know seems like a duh moment but society tries to tell us what we have to do as moms but honestly their answers shocked me... the things I thought would be important to them were not, so I could let those go and really focus on what THEY said meant the most to them. I decided what some non-negotiables were and have stuck to that! I also realized balance is something we cant really obtain but we can find harmony between biz and life. There will be seasons where we have to spend more time with our biz and then seasons where our family needs more of our time. Trying to balance the 2, in my opinion, is a waste of energy.
