A friend and local homeschool Mom is trying to gather votes for her brother. Please listen and vote. Would you be so kind to vote for my brother on the link below? He is trying to make it to a NYC jazz competition which is a bit different compared to the traditional ones he has participated in so far. Besides him submitting his own composition to prove technical skills, they are looking at the popular votes as well. He is currently in third place and we are trying to help him gather as many votes as possible. Maybe your can post this to your pages as well if you like his music style? He won many competitions in Europe but his dream is to make it to the US jazz scene. The deadline for voting is October 28th. Here is how it works: 1. Click on this link: madeinnyjazz/sorin_zlat/ or the one below. 2. Click “Register to vote” on the right hand side panel. You will need to enter your name and email address and choose a password. They will send you a link for verification to your email address. They want to ensure that all the votes are legit, as they only accept one vote per person. 3. Go to your email. Follow the link sent by Made in NY Jazz. 4. Once the link is activated you need to go back into “Register to vote” and sign in on the left hand side. 5. Click on the top bar the tab Categories – Solo Instrumental – Sorin Zlat – Vote. He is currently in third place. It looks like there are a lot of steps but I promise it is quick and it only takes 2 minutes. It would mean so much for him to make it to the US. It is his lifelong dream to play in NYC.
