A friend emailed me a you tube news report about flashlight apps. I have not researched it thoroughly as I do not have this app, but for those that do it might be worth watching. Apparently the top 10 flashlight apps have the potential to carry a Trojan horse. What I took away from watching the video is that flashlight apps under 100 kb are safe, but many are between 1.2 and 5 mb and they are more likely to harbor the virus. Watch and decide for yourself.
