A friend gave me a couple boxes of Matzo Ball and Soup mix. Ive never had matzo balls, so I decided to try it out. I had some weak chicken stock that I added the soup mix to instead of plain water like the box called for. O.M.G! Im hooked. The matzo balls are kind of like hush puppies that are boiled instead of deep fried. I think when I make up the next box Ill try adding some seasonings to the matzo ball dough. I think theyd be really good with some caramelized onions and garlic. Or Italian herbs.
