A friend of mine asked me, being that I talk so much of Liberia well being if I was to become a future President of Liberia, what would I do? My Answer: 1. If God says so in the future, I will have wherewithal to implement my vision for a Liberia that I have always dreamt of. A nation thats just as good as any other country on the face of the earth. But to be honest, a President job I am not interested in, but I want to be seen as a symbol, an icon, someone who will inspire and bring forth some sort of CHANGE in Liberia. God willing, if I happen to become a Lib future President, I will hire professionals and patriots— not friends— to help develop and influence policy. I will develop the skill of retail politics and focus on a few major goals at a time. I will practice egalitarianism. Finally, I will understand the process and implications of decision-making. To create the conditions for effective decision-making, I will hire honest people who are not only “yes men and women,” but who exhibit characteristics of the “courageous follower,” somebody who is willing to tell me (the boss) the truth.
