A friend of mine expressed the opinion that the reason why she couldnt find a nice guy to date was that there were no more nice guys anymore. I expressed the counter-opinion that, in this highly-charged atmosphere of heightened interpersonal sensitivity, where calls of misogyny and harassment are flying by so quickly that you lose track of them, maybe the nice guys are gunshy because they dont want to express an interest in someone only to lose their jobs because someone took it badly and publicly accused them of being creepy.
