A friend of mine posted a list of books theyd like their kids to read (now or when they are in their teens). Id like to start a post on books I DONT want my kids to read, or books that I just found awful and dont want my kids to be bored with. Please add your books to my list! Great Expectations: If your expectation is lots of words with no substance, then this book is Great. Atlas Shrugged: Classicism and masochism made manifest through the written word. Im a pretty selfish guy and I CRINGED at the immature rhetoric of this one. If you want good Ayn Rand, read Anthem then stop. Or, just read Nietzsche instead.
