A friend posed this, and I watched it. My reason for being curious and interested was that I would most definitely consider myself introverted, for the most part. So I wanted to see what she had to say about it. Something in me wanted to feel good about who I naturally am, even validated, and empowered to embrace the traits that Ive come to feel pressured to overcome as a general rule. The points she makes seem to bring a clarity to the struggle of expectation and insistence in our culture for self-improvement and constant collaboration or connection in order to generate more superior ideas or become a more bold, outgoing better version of ourselves. It can be so unfulfilling and frustrating to feel compelled to fit the mold most widely accepted as ideal, when one is made from a different, beautiful mold of just as great a value.
