A friend posted this very disappointing read. Amazingly frustrating that this pastor would himself fall for blaming the victim. Brown reaped what he sowed - Denying existence of systemic racism and white supremacy in our society does as good as denying existence of inflation. Youll still pay the price. - Calling something sin does not release you from understanding it, and working against it. - Writings like this only seem to let white people off the hook from their role in undoing the state of privileges that they havent earned, and come at the expense of their brothers and sisters of color. - Im embarrassed that this man and I serve the same God. But we do, and I must disagree with his attempt at this article. - It hurts even more that a friend posted this.
