A friend told me today that I have unreserved optimism and that is reflected in my articles. Wow, I could not believe what she said. Then, she added that while I remain objective in my writing, I am not detached, I also become involved in folks as well. Yesterday, another friend told me that I am a healer and that I am a good medicine for her 87 yo widowed mother. Another told me yesterday that I have a unique eye and heart of seeing what is in someones soulful spirit, unknown to them at times, due to their grief, trauma or presently limited viewpoint, that can grow in time, as they discover their blessings. That balances with the compliment I got from my cooking, thank you for my wonderful lunch using forgotten vegetables in the fridge. Another said, what I just wrote was PR-ish. In the past, some detractors questioned why am I the conscience for the agency, who appointed me to be Mother Theresa. Now in my church, they also appreciate what I do on their behalf. Somewhere in between lies the truth. I know who I am, a beloved child of God, who simply wants to share her heart and unreserved optimism! And if in the process, someone listens to what I am sharing, change and be transformed, then, I am glad and so happy that I am able to become a channel of positive change.
