A full programme of dates were agreed for club events over the summer months. These are as follows: Sunday June 30h will be a juniors only event. Fishing is from 11am until 3pm. Saturday July 13/Sunday 14th July, 24 hour event from 6pm on 13th to 6pm on Sunday 14th. 2 rod heaviest fish, seniors only for this one. Sunday July 21st. Juniors only event. Meet in square at 9.30am with fishing 11am until 3pm. Sunday July 28th.Event on a river in Co. Monaghan, meet in square at 8.15am, fishing 10-3am for the heaviest bag. August 4th: Fergal Donnelly Memorial Cup. Venue may have to be changed but people will be informed in advance. Fishing 8am until 3pm. 2 rod static for heaviest fish. Sunday August 18th. IFPAC Junior qualifier. Fishing 11am until 3pm. There is plans to run an angling summer school in August, more details to follow. We are holding a Junior workshop on the evening of Wednesday July 24th from 5-9pm,venue to be confirmed but we are hoping it will be in Darkley Community Center. This will also be an opportunity to celebrate the recent award the juniors won at Armagh Sports Forum. For more info on the above, speak with Mickey, Brian or any other member of the committee.
