A full tummy of faith . People all around us are hungry. I’m not talking about the desire for food. I’m talking, instead, about the desire for better lives. Part of God’s commission to Christians is to help people toward better lives. If this is to happen, we believers must share the truths from God that help us to have better lives. Our job description as Christians includes sharing His wisdom imparted to us through the Word, through the Holy Spirit and through believers who share their learned wisdom with us. Fact is that speaking biblical truth into the life of an unemployed relative or cancer-diagnosed friend or a divorce- depressed co-worker can sometimes make a HUGE difference in that person’s outlook on life. The hurting heart can begin to experience a measure of understanding and an increased efficiency in transforming emotional pain into situational progress. The Beatitudes of Matthew 5 are powerful words of wisdom. Romans 8:28-37 are powerful words of wisdom The Sermon on the Mount’s words about proper priorities are powerful words of wisdom. Fact is that the Bible is filled with powerful words of wisdom. Learn them, my friend. Memorize them. Live them. Share them. You’ll always have a full tummy of faith if you do. And you’ll know that inviting another to eat at that same dinner table will actually make your portions of wisdom even more satisfying. “Wise words satisfy like a good meal” (Proverbs 18:20).PRAYER.Father in the name of JESUS help us to share whatever you have given us among our friends,our relatives in JESUS NAME.AMEN
