A game doesnt need to have a good gameplay which people find it exciting. This game, Murdered: Soul Suspect, is an interesting detective based game. This game might be short for just completing the main story but if you want to find those collectables artifacts, side story about a person, parts of story about something, it might take quite a time to 100% complete the full game, even I almost completed it with 83% of the game trophies I collected on PS4. The gameplay will turn a little exciting when a devil encounters you and you have hide from them. Overall the game was not really scary at all but you will get frightened sometimes because of the demons scream and you dont want to die because of the demons eating up you soul. I find that the story is interesting but the plot is easily to be guess what will happened next or the ending of the story.
