A girl and a guy just friends, refused to admit their affection to one another but the whole world knew they’re in love. No matter much they deny it, it eventually shows. So one day... Girl: Tell me, who do you love most in this world? Boy: You, of course! Girl: What am I to you? Boy: The boy thought for a moment and looked intently in her eyes and said “You are missing part of my heart”. She smiled, and agreed to take up that special part in his heart. As a couple had a sweet and happy life for a while. However, the youthful couple began to drift apart due to the busy schedule of life and the never-ending worries of daily problems, their life became difficult. All the challenges posed by the harsh realities of life began to drift away, their dreams and love for each other. The couple began to have more quarrels and each quarrel became make their relation more worst. One day, after the quarrel, the girl decided to leave him and move on with her life hoping she doesn’t have to live arguments everyday. The boy called her and she yelled ”You don’t love me!!!” The boy hated her childishness and out of impulse, said, May be, it was a mistake for us to be together!!!” Suddenly, she turned quiet and froze for long while. She regretted what he said but words spoken cant be taken back. With tears in her eyes, she sat on her bed and cried. She decided to send him a sms saying “If I’m really not the missing part of your love, let me go and search for some one who is... It is less painful this way! We’re done, I deserve to be happy!!” His last words to her - “Your happiness comes first, even if it’s not with me” As time went by.... He never dated but he had tried to find out about her life indirectly. He watched over life, and her relationships. He should check up on her life to make sure she was ok and not getting treated unfairly but never tried to bring her back. In the dark and lonely night, he burned the midnight oil and felt the lingering ache in his heart. He couldn’t bring himself to admit that he was missing her. One day, she randomly messaged him. She needed help urgently. Not knowing whether he should play the macho guy that is happy on his own and doesn’t want to have anything to do with her or just help her cause deep down he cares about her. He decided to help her. She smiled at him gently. Boy: How are you? Girl: I’m fine. How about you.., Have you found your heart’s missing part? Boy: No. Girl: I’ll be done with exams soon. Boy: Same here. Give me a call when you are back, You know my number, Nothing has changed. That night, with a smile, she messaged him back. “Thank you so much for the help. Goodnight” The next day his friend called him to say. She’s in a bad condition. She kept everything in her the entire time hoping she finds happiness by moving on but it just never materialized. She was verbally abused by the guy she dated. She went suicidal. He visited her to make sure she’s ok. He once promised her - “Your happiness comes first, even if it’s not with me” and he reminded her when he visited. Midnight... Once again, he burned the midnight oil... And like before, he felt the lingering ache in his heart. He finally knew, she was that missing part that he had carelessly broken! He stood by her side until she regained her health and made sure she was taken care of. The fact that he didn’t lose her in her suicide attempt, he felt it was gods way of saying she deserves to live and be happy. Later on, he went down on his knee and dedicated his life to her. Sometimes, people say things out of moments of fury. We take out our frustrations at our loved ones, and even though we know that we ought to think twice and act wisely, we actually don’t do it. Things happen each day, many of which are beyond our control. Try not to hurt your loved one, because a moment of anger could be a lifetime punishment...
