A glass of water in a window sill, 1/3 each water, ice , and dirt....At first the glass remains seemingly stable, but it is deceptive because its the ice melting causing the seeming stability.Once the ice is gone the change in the glass is quick.Temperatures in the glass rise, as it does, the warming water starts evaporating,,,very soon only a hot glass of dirt..like Venus...When all the ice on earth is gone earth will change fast and drastically...I have posted this glass item since 2006... scientificamerican/article/rapidly-warming-oceans-set-to-release-heat-into-the-atmosphere/
