A good Good Friday to all. At Bell Trace, I have a modified Stations of the Cross service -- Im sure liturgical purists would object, but I cant get people up and around the small chapel with walkers and wheelchairs, so I read the stations, we do the responsive parts, the organist plays a bit, and I extinguish candles in a progression nearer and nearer the cross I have set up there. The bulletin for this service is full text, and I have some pictures of stone-carved stations so people can see them. It works well for our purposes, and it is one of a few services per year where the Catholic group, the Protestant group, and a few others (including my Missouri Synod Lutheran resident) will all come together for the service.
