A good Halloween story......my daughter, Susan, came home Halloween nite. I stopped in to have some dinner on my way home and when she came in and said Where is Jeffrey? Guess poor fellow was in the bathroom where he spends so much of his life. (For those of you who dont know he has had ulcerative colitis for 4 years now. His life is not normal for a 21 year old because of this condition.) He has had no transportation available for him to be able to go when he wants to. So when Susan finally got him out into the kitchen, she said Close your eyes and say Trick or Treat!!!!!! He did and she laid some license plates in his hands. A friend who is living out of the country and has no need for the pickup, signed it over to them and now Jeffrey has WHEELS!!!!!! Sentimental Grandma got tears in her eyes as he is such a wonderful grandson who seldom complaints over his lot in life........somehow he keeps his wonderful sense of humor........thank you to you who have known about this and have continued to pray. If you have normal grandchildren, who are living a normal young persons life, feel blessed....it is hard to watch this with him, but I know in time, he will be healed and the time he has spent ill will not go unnoticed by God. His blessings will be bestowed on him.........thanks again friends.
