A good article by Dr. Wolfgang H. Thome, in light of the current downturn in Kenyas tourism caused by terrorism events. The ripple effects on Kenyas economy are enormous and could weaken protection of the countrys parks and reserves. Reduced numbers of tourists visiting the Mara Triangle are similarly affecting Mara Conservancys operational abilities. The fight against terror is a global fight where yielding is the key to losing the battle. Every life lost is and should be mourned, but for us, it is equally important to honor that sacrifice by standing firm and continuing with our life as best as we can. Those who can should stand by Kenya and support the country’s tourism industry
