A good read for all the parents out there! Are you being overly protective over your children? Recently a friend shared that she is on this chat group with group of parents from her childs class. So instead of letting their children take ownership of noting what homework they need to do, the parents will call or text the teacher daily & then spread the info on the chat group. The child will then rely on the parents for the info. So the child will not listen carefully to the teachers instructions during class. The child will never learn to take notes for homework. The child will never take responsibility of his/her own learning. Parents, is this what you want?
