A good reason for generally voting Republican. A vote for Democrats is a vote for infringing your religious freedom on major moral matters. I have no idyllic views of the Republican Party. Republicans are far from perfect on this score; they are just not nearly as bad as Democrats. My view of the Republican Party is similar to Churchill’s view of democracy generally: “Democracy is the worst form of government, except for all those other forms that have been tried from time to time.” From the article: “Senate Republicans on Wednesday blocked Democrats effort to undermine the Supreme Courts Hobby Lobby decision, ending a round of partisan jousting aimed at capturing womens votes in the fall.
