A gory sight of people killed in a golf car accident greeted my entrance into Zaria this morning. At gwargwoji. A golf car was on top speed. Then all of a sudden a trailer was negotiating a u-turn. The golf driver, in an attempt to avoid ramming into the trailer, swarved off the road only to ram into a stationary Dangote trailer on the roadside killing all on board. The impact of the colision squeezed the car and in the process squeezing lives out of the driver and his passengers. They all died on their seats. The road safety are to evacuate their remains from the wreckage. May their souls rest in peace. And may God keep watching over those of us that are on that road Mondays to Fridays. And when will Nigerian drivers ever learn simple road rules. Why should a driver be on top speed when coming into an area full of people, vehicles and u-turns? Why should a trailer be negotiating a u-turn without taking a long look?
