A great big shout out goes to everyone looking forward to the opening day of Rump’s Butcher Shoppe. Believe us, we are too!! We are so thankful for all the continued support & patience while we work tirelessly to get the doors open for you. Rest assured, we ARE nearing the end of construction. The pictures below, as well as those in our previous postings, depict only a brief snapshot of what the scope of this project has been from the top, down, inside & out. From total interior & partial exterior demolition, complete re-plumb, wiring, new roof, windows, doors, and yards upon yards of concrete for the new sidewalk, alleyway & back entrance. Filling in the basement of this building during the coldest months of winter presented a new challenge during the scare of the LP supply shortage in February as we strived to keep our contractors somewhat warm, before we were able install our HVAC systems. Currently our refrigeration systems, scales & point of sale are ready to go while we put the final touches on the interior and waiting for approvals from the State of Wisconsin on all our formulations and the final overall building and equipment inspections. We don’t have an exact opening date yet, but as soon as we do, you’ll be the first to know!! Thanks again for all your support and helping us create the buzz about town.
