A great example showing the difference between Positive Reinforcement vs Positive Punishment. Notice how the man goes into Learned Helpless (he shuts down) and stops thinking as the session continues on. The same thing happens to our animals. For those that argue that electronic collars and prong collars dont cause pain, thats simply false. The whole point of these collars is to cause discomfort and pain otherwise they would not stop or suppress behaviors, yielding them worthless.
