A great mini review in the NYT on our Julian Wachners Messiah in NYC within a preview of what hes been up to every night since then! Congratulations, Julian!!! Shortly after completing what I believe are the most mystically compelling “Messiah” performances in New York, Trinity’s choir and the Trinity Baroque Orchestra, both under the inspired direction of Julian Wachner, actually ramp up their activities. From Friday through Jan. 6, Trinity hosts the Twelfth Night Festival, an annual explosion of early music that has enlivened a traditionally barren stretch of the classical season (trinitywallstreet.org).
