A great start to the Kempsey Koala Corridor Project with Koala - TopicsExpress

A great start to the Kempsey Koala Corridor Project with Koala scats found at the first landholders property (off Beranghi Rd) visited as part of the project. The Kempsey Koala Corridor project (funded through the Environmental Trust) aims to support landholders in the Kempsey area with Koala conservation via weed control in privately-owned core Koala habitat, revegetation of Koala feed trees, support with feral animal control during the Koala breeding season, and raising community awareness of Koala crossing areas to reduce roadkill. Anyone interested in participating in this project is advised to contact Natasha English at Macleay Landcare on 65622076 on Tuesdays & Wednesdays or via email at: [email protected] Vanessa.
