A great tribute to our veterans at the middle school today. Thanks to Mrs. Scott, principal at NPMS, who helped coordinate the program. A very special thanks to the Rolling Prairie VFW post, their auxiliary ladies group and to the New Carlisle American Legion. It was a very well planned out program and the choir really helped set the tone. It was also an honor to witness our local heroes present and later, retire the colors. We want to thank Superintendent Dermody for always supporting these programs. Numerous middle school students spoke and shared some powerful insights. What a great day and a great tribute to our local veterans, past, present and future. Thanks to all who took the time to come out in support of our veterans. A very special day!
