A group of youngsters came last weekend to The Local at 10 pm and were disappointed their tables were given away. We apologised profusely but could not do anything about it since we always insist people come in latest by 9.30 for you have made a table booking. However, I do agree there could have been a miscommunication between us.One girl from the group Tanya Malik got worked up and threw a tantrum. They had some drinks and beers and while they walked out she belted out that she would see us on Zomato. Right enough the next day a nasty review popped up by Tanya telling one and all that The Local is overrated, over hyped, the drinks over expensive and the manager and staff- arrogant. I do not wish to argue, my simple point is that in her over enthusiasm to bring us down she made a foolish comment by saying our drinks are over expensive. Here is my reply...... Hey Tanya... just 3 things to your long note 1) Sorry for the bad communication between our staff. 2) you got it completely wrong about our drinks being expensive and 3) You stuck to your word about threatening us to write nasty stuff on Zomato. Even after what you have said I would still like to invite you and convert you into becoming a fan of The Local like hundreds out there...
