A guy arrived from a long journey this evening to see his parents. On entering the house, he met his mum sitting on the edge of a seat in the sitting room propping up her jaw with one of her hands. With smile, he quickly dropped his luggage on the center table & rushed to hug her mumfor that has become a ritual which they started practising since his childhood but the woman did not move. What is wrong mum? Are you ok? What has happened? He fused as confused & anxious to get her response but none came out of her month. What of papa? He asked after a long bewildering silence. Prompted by a wild curiosity, he walked into his dads room & behold there he lay withhis back on the bed gazing up at the ceiling. Good evening papa, he greeted with a hushed & shaky voice as he bend down to focus on his iron face. The old man didnt seems to hear or see him at all for he had continued to keep his eyes on the ceiling. What is it papa? Who has died? Please, tell me. No body has died, he heard her mum shouted fromthe sitting room. It is all about that Nwoye! Nwoye!!, she added with morepower to her voice Who is Nwoye mum? He asked storming back to the parlour. It is that man called Nwoye that has made your father mad, she cried aloud. Who is this Nwoye? It is not Nwoye son, shouted his father from his room. It is Maoyes!!! Who is this Maoyes? My guy was still asking this question as he called me on phone this evening. Please can someone here help him?
