A hard day’s night. Today was a day when many people finally started to realize something that has been going on for several months now. Meanwhile we have some first aid kits-related news for you. #1. Good news. Yesterday ‘Support the Army of Ukraine’ EuroArmyMaydan fund’s fundraising campaign to supply 100 IFAKs hit the $9,500 goal. Minimum donation amounted to $1, whereas maximum donation amounted to $1,500. We’re grateful to everyone who made even a small donation and helped sharing the information. Every dollar saves lives. Many thanks to Euromaidanpr for wonderful infographics and their help in spreading the word. We’re also thankful to ‘diyaty.org’ project for their invaluable help in sharing the information about our fundraiser in twitter. #2. Determinate news. Considering recent adverse developments, the need in IFAKs has grown significantly. By now we have received 100 applications for the IFAKs, 40 items on average each. That means 4,000 (!) IFAKs to supply. Too many? Too expensive? Implossible to achieve? Well, we shall still be working towards assembling the maximum IFAKs quantity we could get for our soldiers, and we’re counting on your support. As a part of this project we have extended the deadline for IFAKs fundraiser to 9/11 and the goal to $14,250 (150 IFAKs). Therefore we kindly ask you to join our initiative and to actively share it with your friends and followers on social networks youcaring/medical-fundraiser/ifaks-for-ukrainian-soldiers/212021 #3. Other good news. $2,700 necessary to buy 300 Foxseal chest seals to treat penetrating chest wounds and requested in 8/25 post are already there. Dear Friends, you’re amazing! :) #4. Long-awaited news. Combat Application Tourniquets have arrived in Kyiv. Thanks to Ivan Vidyakin for arranging the purchases! ***** Willing to help? 1. IFAKs fundraising campaign is still running. Each report on FB, Twitter and other social networks is highly appreciated youcaring/medical-fundraiser/ifaks-for-ukrainian-soldiers/212021 2. You can make a donation towards IFAK contents purchase (Celox, Quikclot, bandages, C.A.T.s) via PayPal directly to UkieArmyHelp@gmail or using your debit or credit card at goo.gl/E3P7wh. Those funds will help our friends from Helping Ukrainian Soldiers initiative who arrange the purchases for Fund to contract and buy out large lots of blood clotting agents, tourniquets, bandages and chest seals at the best prices. And the price really does make a difference when you have to fill thousands of IFAKs. Receipts and spending reports can be found here goo.gl/LozpYg. 3. We’re always anxious to get some parcels from you. Currently the most expected supply is Combat Application Tourniquet which is the basic and much necessary bleeding control tool. You can send a present for a soldier to US ( Natalia Kalarash or Елена Недождий will be happy to advise shipping address) or directly to Ukraine (please inquire Olesya Favorska or Anna Kozlova). Each SHARE and even the smallest donation can save a LIFE and bring peace of mind! :) P.S. for those of you who haven’t seen it in previous posts – here’s how IFAKs sent last week to Donbass battalion looked like.
