A huge thank you to Team Jessicas Campaign for Woman Of The Year and an amazing husband Matt DeLoach for always pushing and not giving up even until the last second!!! I had nearly 400 contributors and not the first check or item donated over $1,000 to me that says that there are tons of families like mine that care about doing what they can and paying their healthy kid tax and also makes my heart full to capacity for the support everyone has shown. I didnt get a chance to make a speech but I were able to it would have said I decided to say yes to this fundraiser the night of the first introduction event. Kerry Heyde Kavlie put Rachel in her footy jammies and I almost cried right then. I went home, kissed my two where were sleeping in their footy jammies and thought I was blessed then. I really didnt know until tonight what that meant. Then I was blessed to know nothing about blood cancers having no experience with it. Now I am blessed to know survivors and to know that I raised nearly $30,000 from families just like theirs and made a difference. I also learned what true friends do. They show up. They call to check in. They remind you that you can do it even when you are beyond exhaustion. They donate. They buy your auction items. They give money from their campaign even when it could have cost them winning their race. We as a team of 12 Canidates raised $307,000 nearly $90,000 more than our goal in 10 weeks.
