A hundred years from now it will not matter what my bank account - TopicsExpress

A hundred years from now it will not matter what my bank account was, the sort of house I lived in, or the kind of car I drove...but the world may be different because I was important in the life of a child. -Forest E. Witcraft Yesterday, the delegates participating in the Sports United Exchange Programs - U.S. Department of State had the opportunity to observe a youth development sport after school program run by the Northern Illinois University team members at the local middle school. The club is called Project Leadership and is for adolescent at-risk males. The purpose of the club is to build life skills through sport activities. Below are pictures of delegates joining in on the activity for the day working on the lesson of effort to overcome obstacles (obstacles both in life and in sport). The delegates showed their natural coaching abilities by participating with the boys, motivating them, and even having some fun on their own. Everyone discussed certain obstacles in their lives and how they can use goal setting to overcome them. Tell us about some after school programs in Belize that you think are making a difference in the community.
