A inter-denominational cell group in Hartenbos, saw our first outreach, and decided to get involved in their community. We reached out to Kids in Power-Town informal Settlement next to the N2 Highway in Kleinbrak. Weeknds and holidays are the worst for these children. Many of them get food at school, but holidays and weekends are celebration time, so many of the households dont invest in food during these times. We got an opportunity to speak at the Hartenboss Dutch Reformed Church, and they are supporting outreaches every holiday and they want to get involved in recovering a piece of land for the kids as a play area. We are thankfull to see communities helping other communities.
