A joint research conducted by Indian, Spanish and US scientists have revealed that Muslims and Hindus of Uttar Pradesh have same genes. The research was conducted on 2400 people in Lucknow , Rampur, Kanpur and Bareilly. American Journal of Anthropology has accepted their research paper. Professor Suraksha Agarwal said before starting her study she had taken a nod from SPGI and MCI. She prepared a list of Muslim families and conducted a research on them. The research says that Shia and Sunni Muslim’s genes were similar to that of Hindus in India. This similarity was not scene in genes of Muslims of Central Asia, Arab Countries, and North-east Africa. This proves that Most of the Muslims have their roots in India and not in other countries.
